You are probably like so many couples who went to the bridal show and thought that your problems would be solved.  After all, with so many photographers at the show, choosing can’t be that difficult!   Like so many other couples, you are not sure what questions to ask or what the answers really mean.

Take the time to interview your photographer and establish if there is a connection.   Since you spend more time with your wedding photographer than any other vendor on your wedding day, it is very important that you not only like your photographer but that they understand the results you are looking for.  Engagement sessions are a great way to establish this connection and really should be a requirement for anyone purchasing wedding photography.

Look closely at the albums and other products your photographer provides and gauge their enthusiasm for these products.  Ask them why they chose these particular suppliers.  As with other products, you can typically expect that a lower priced photographer equates to a less experienced photographer which results in lower quality photography as well as lower quality final products.
