Why are Engagement Sessions Important? Finespun Photography believes that engagement sessions are a really essential part of the wedding photography process which is why we include an engagement session for all couples who book a wedding with us.  Here are some of the reasons we feel so strongly about the engagement sessions we do.

Experience: It is not unusual for couples to feel a bit nervous about having their photographs taken in a public setting and their wedding day is not the time to confront this concern.  Working with us to capture engagement photographs allows you to become more comfortable in front of the camera (and in front of other people).

Relationship Building: Engagement sessions are the perfect time to establish a personal relationship–a relationship built on trust and familiarity–with your photographer. We promise your session will be fun!  Getting to know your photographer personally really does help put you more at ease on your wedding day.

We are so lucky to have had Braelyn in our new studio for a 3 month session. Isn’t she precious?

As you might remember, we are conducting a model search and we couldn’t have been happier with this little one. We think we captured some special moments between this mom and her infant and hope to see them back in our studio sometime soon.
